Given the present state of the economy and the ongoing future uncertainty business is hesitant to invest in anything that does not show clear quantitative business value. This session will instruct on how to calculate the value of project management processes, software and techniques to the rest of the business. Utilizing a specific case study as an illustration, we will walk the audience through how to calculate an ROI and then develop and present a business case for ongoing investment to senior management.

Michael Patrick (Senior Partner Arbutus Solutions) is one of the owners of t he Arbutus Solutions and has given talks at the Project Conference in Phoenix and was recently contracted directly to Microsoft to develop their Project Accounting demo image which utilizes SharePoint as a key technology.
